A Note from Our Founder

Hi, I’m Carl Prieto, Founder of Sopify. Before building this product, I ran a multi-line insurance and financial services business. Like many small business owners, I knew I needed better systems but every time I sat down to create an SOP, I hit a wall.

In 2024, I set out to build two thorough SOPs for one of our core job functions. When I finished, the clarity it brought my team was incredible. But I had invested 30+ hours over six weeks to complete them—completely unsustainable for busy owners and managers.

Worse yet, so much of the business still lived in my head. Every time a team member quit or a new hire joined, I had to explain everything all over again. I tried other tools, but they still made me do most of the heavy lifting. That’s when the vision for Sopify came alive:
